sometimes i get all relaxed and spaced out and play guitar lines that i loop with an ancient akai headrush, pumped through a boss dd6 and a cheap delay pedal and spin out loops off the top of my head. almost always out at Easy HQ in PA but sometimes in the studio in greenpoint, brooklyn.
i call this project XPOEMSX.
sometimes sean byrne of LAZY SALON, TWIN ATLAS and LENOLA fame, takes these loops and tweaks them like on the Hermione recordings. but usually they're just solo guitar improvisations with zero embellishment.
